Meet the Staff

Janine – Lead Dental Hygienist

A veteran in the dental field for 29 years – Janine received her Dental Assisting Degree in 1985 and her Dental Hygiene Degree in 1988. Janine looks forward to seeing and catching up with each of her patients on their return visits while providing them with optimal oral health care. She is married with two adult children and one grandchild. In her spare time, Janine enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband, fishing, and spending time with family.

Shequila – Dental Hygienist

I have been working in Dentistry for over 8 years. I worked as an Assistant Hygienist and Receptionist. One of the things I enjoy most about dentistry is to see how changing a patient’s smile transforms their lives. I love working in a Divine Expressions atmosphere where comfort and the wellbeing of our patients is our #1 value. I’m the mother of two energetic boys and in our spare time we travel to different theme parks, but our most favorite is cuddling on the couch and watching movies.

Skyler - Dental Assistant

Skyler – Dental Assistant

I have been in Dentistry for over 3 years. One of the things I enjoy most about it is seeing the joy on the patient’s face when their smiles are transformed. I married my wonderful husband in August and have 2 dogs. In my spare time, I enjoy being at the lake.

Brandie – Front Desk

I’m originally from Madison, Alabama. I started as chairside assistant in oral surgery in April 2013. My favorite part of dentistry is seeing the positive life changing results that dentistry can provide for patients. In my spare t ime, I love volunteering, working in the yard, and serving the Lord.

Meet Mazi, our Office Dog, and Doctor of Goodness

An adorable mix between the Golden Retriever and Poodle, Goldendoodles are the ultimate combination of good looks, smart wits, and playfulness.  Poodles don’t shed and are very athletic and intelligent, while Golden Retrievers are lovable and playful family dogs. The mix makes the Goldendoodle a great choice for a lifelong pal, especially for those with mild pet allergies, though no dog is completely hypoallergenic. The Poodle’s intelligence and Golden Retriever’s obedience makes this breed wonderful service animals.  They’re also great companion pets for hospital patients or people in nursing homes. For anyone needing a little cheering up, their happy demeanor will bring an instant smile to anyone’s face.

See What Our Patients Are Saying

"Dr Barnett and his staff are super outstanding, professional and provide a wonderful dental experience. My teeth were cleaned by Jean, who is a super competent Hygienist. I have been seeing her quarterly for over 9 years. She is the very best"

John C.

"Great service first and foremost The entire time that my wife was having her procedure I was kept informed. The staff to include Dr. Barnett made it an important point to ensure that I was satisfied and not only that each person went the extra effort with friendly interaction throughout my visit."
